Amidst the pandemic, not only are there more than 240,000 people becoming unemployed, grassroots also have their wages hugely cut, resulting in tremendous financial pressure that they could only live from hand to mouth. By participating in the Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice Campaign organized by Construction Industry Council, our staff volunteers have distributed 150 boxes of “Lo Pan Rice” to singleton elderly, people with disabilities, mentally-ill, grassroots, ethnic minorities, the unemployed and low-income people. We inherited the spirit of the great master Lo Pan in serving people, while we were striving to get through the current economic hardship alongside the disadvantageous groups with positive and optimistic vibes.
