At Success Base Engineering Limited, we are committed to promoting an age-inclusive society. Recently, the Success Base Angels Team collaborated with “Action Care”, a local charity, to organise a singing session and a wide range of interactive games. Our team led and encouraged most of the elderly to actively participate in our team building games, unlocking their creativity and bringing everyone together. Afterwards, we distributed food to each of them, seeing the gentle smile on their faces gave us a sense of fulfillment.
According to the latest data from the Census and Statistics Department, one in five people in Hong Kong is elderly, which is a twofold increase in number compared to 2001. It is highly expected the population ageing will continue to worsen; therefore, it is in urgent need to offer various comprehensive packages of care and support services for the elderly. To accomplish the mission of “helping seniors to live in dignity”, it is necessary to not only provide the food and necessities to the elderly, but also give them proper love and care so that they can feel fully supported and blessed. In the upcoming days, we will continue to participate in in different charity campaigns so as to further contribute to the disadvantaged groups whilst committing to our social corporate responsibility.
